Sports Premium Funding 2016/17
PE and Sports Premium Funding received £8,370 for 2016/17

Objective |
Yoga Club |
To develop children’s ability to calm and reflect. To use various strategies in the busy world to support well-being and sleep. |
PE Skills |
Ongoing professional development for Teachers and TAs. Having a sports specialist who plans and teaches the session. Teachers are developing skills and techniques to teach PE. |
Archery |
To give children a different experience and develop specific skills. To engage in healthy competition. |
Cluster Events |
To enable children to apply their PE skills in a competitive situation. To enable a wider competition between schools. |
Low Mill – Outdoor adventure activity |
To develop skills, attitudes which impact on their self-esteem and subsequently their learning. |
Progressive Sports |
To develop a range of skills and develop teamwork and co-operation. |
Dance |
To enhance and enrich the PE curriculum by providing an opportunity for skills to be developed even further. |
Sustainability
Through the ongoing professional development, teachers are being skilled up and they are able to lead both lessons and clubs.
We have made links with the people in the local community so that we can continue to run and enable these activities to happen.
